Choose the build that matches the device in front of you. Android covers phones and tablets, Windows covers desktops and laptops, and iOS covers iPhone and iPad.
Your operating system will ask for permission to add a VPN configuration. That prompt is how every VPN works — it is what lets the app route traffic through the encrypted tunnel.
Open the app and press connect. Automatic mode picks a route for you; you can switch to a specific location whenever you would rather choose it yourself.
A few practical things worth knowing.
There is no monthly allowance to watch, so a long download or an evening of streaming will not run you into a limit.
You are not tied to the first server you connect to. Change region whenever your route feels slow or you need a different way out.
Newer releases carry routing and stability fixes. If a connection has started failing, updating is usually the quickest thing to try first.
